Agreement to these terms
By accessing BitFire websites, installing the BitFire WordPress security plugin, purchasing a license, or using BitFire products or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
BitFire services
BitFire provides WordPress security software, bot detection, firewall functionality, malware scanning, reputation checks, support resources, and related security services. Services may change over time as threats, features, and infrastructure evolve.
License use
Paid features may require a valid license. You are responsible for maintaining accurate account and billing information, protecting license credentials, and using licenses only as permitted by the purchased plan.
Prohibited activity
You may not use BitFire services to attack, disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, overload, or gain unauthorized access to any system. You may not abuse support channels, attempt to bypass licensing, or use the services in violation of applicable law.
No security guarantee
BitFire is designed to reduce security risk, but no security product can guarantee that every attack, vulnerability, malware infection, or unauthorized action will be prevented or detected. You remain responsible for maintaining your websites, backups, credentials, hosting environment, WordPress installation, plugins, and themes.
Privacy policy
BitFire handles security-related data as described in the BitFire Privacy Policy. By using the services, you acknowledge that security tools may process request metadata, logs, bot information, reputation data, and related security information to protect websites and prevent abuse.
Services provided as available
BitFire services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitSlip6, LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or security incidents.
Changes to these terms
BitFire may update these terms from time to time by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
